Scot is a digital enterprise technology executive with a strong track record in developing and executing cutting-edge technical solutions across multiple business verticals. He has led significant transformations in organizations to boost both employee productivity and customer satisfaction.


Currently Scot is leading all technology for Covetrus and is the GM for Covetrus’s software business. Previously, he was the GM of Commerce Cloud at Salesforce and CTO and GM of Arc XP, a Bezos owned company where he built a global SaaS business. Scot’s background also includes key roles at Grainger and Sears Holdings, where he led enterprise engineering and e-commerce. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Management Information Systems from National Louis University.


Dr. Link Welborn is a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, certified in Canine and Feline Practice, owner of eight AAHA Accredited hospitals in Tampa, Florida, and an AAHA past president.


He is also a Distinguished Practitioner Fellow of the Veterinary Medicine Academy, National Academies of Practice.


Link is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Veterinary Management Groups (VMG), Chief Veterinary Officer for Covetrus, a member of VMG-1, and a Veterinary Innovation Council board member.


He helped spearhead the development of the AAHA/VMG Chart of Accounts, AAHA-Accredited VMG Groups, and the Coalition for Connected Veterinary Care.


His awards include the 2022 AVMA Award, AVMA President’s Award, AAHA Practitioner of the Year Award, University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Achievement Award, Florida Veterinary Medical Association Veterinarian of the Year Award and the first AAHA Dedicated Service Award.
