Covetrus Statement on Coronavirus

March 6, 2020

Covetrus shares the world’s concern about the outbreak of COVID-19. Our first priority is the health and safety of our employees, supply chain partners and customers. We are thankful that—to date—all of our team members remain safe and healthy. Our deepest gratitude goes to public health officials and health workers mobilizing to stem the spread of this virus.

Covetrus is responding to the situation by closely monitoring developments available from public health agencies and governments so that we can adjust our safety protocols as needed. We have implemented safety precautions including limiting all but the most critical business travel, and requiring employees who recently traveled to affected areas to undergo a two-week quarantine prior to returning to work. In addition we continue to evaluate workplace contingency plans should the spread of the virus worsen.

Similar to many global companies, we are aware that the outbreak may have an impact on our supply chain. As such, we are continually monitoring and assessing the potential near and long-term impact. We are working closely with all of our stakeholders to address the needs of customers and their patients and are preparing to make any necessary adjustments to minimize potential disruption. Our sourcing teams have been working with this information for many weeks and are trying to minimize potential impacts to our supply chain by seeking alternate and different supply options where they are available in the short term.

This situation is evolving, so we will provide more information as it becomes available in due course.
