We at Covetrus are deeply saddened by the severe impact and loss of life resulting from the widespread bushfires gripping Australia. Thankfully, our Australian colleagues are safe. These widespread fires continue to rage and are devastating parts of Australia, including its unique wildlife, farm animals and pets.
Help and support is needed, which is why we are committed to assisting our communities and our customers throughout this disaster. To date, we have collected and coordinated more than $100,000 in donations of funds and products to support veterinarians, nurses and practice staff as they tend to the animals presented in clinics throughout the country. In the days and months ahead, we will continue to work with agencies and teams that rescue and treat animals affected by the fires.
We could not do this critical work without the help and support of our partners who have made generous donations. We are also grateful for the brave people who work to contain the fires and safeguard people and animals across the land. Our sincere thanks go out to them and to everyone that has kept Australia in their hearts and thoughts.
